“I met Larry at a 55 and older facility where he was living. He had severe diabetes and due to that he developed a lot of blood clotting issues as well as poor healing. This wound was a result of a hospital stay where he spent 10 days flat on his back and no one elevated his heels, resulting in serious pressure sores on both heels. The only saving grace for him was due to the severity of his diabetes he lost most of his feeling in his feet. When he returned to the facility he came to me for help. I immediately started him with Recovery, I would clean and wrap his heels twice daily. As you can see the pressure sores healed very quickly within 14 days which is remarkable.” – Tracy Lacina – Skin Deep Salon & Spa

PRESSURE ULCERS

Pressure ulcers, also known as bed sores or pressure sores, are an injury to the skin and underlying tissue due to prolonged pressure on that area. This condition commonly affects individuals who are immobile or have limited mobility for extended periods, such as those confined to a bed or wheelchair. Pressure ulcers can be very painful and difficult to treat, often taking weeks or even months to heal completely. If not properly treated, they can lead to serious complications such as infection and tissue damage.

NeoGenesis Recovery serum is specifically formulated with patented S²RM® technology, which contains growth factors and cytokines that are naturally found in healthy, young skin. These growth factors work to rejuvenate the damaged tissue, promoting healing and reducing irritation. When applied to pressure ulcers, Recovery serum helps to soothe discomfort and pain while also supporting the skin’s natural healing process.

NeoGenesis Recovery serum can be used daily and contains no harsh chemicals, fragrances, or dyes that can irritate already sensitive skin. This makes it an ideal choice for individuals with pressure ulcers who may be dealing with other health issues and have compromised skin.

The application of NeoGenesis Recovery serum is simple and easy. After cleansing the affected area, a small amount of serum should be applied directly to the wound and gently massaged in. It is recommended to use the serum twice a day, either on its own or in combination with other wound dressings.
