RECOMMENDED PRODUCTS
PROTOCOL | Twice Daily
- Cleanse the skin with NeoGenesis Cleanser
- Apply Recovery serum to the face and neck, including around the eye area
- Apply Mandelic Acid 8% or Salicylic Acid Gel (once daily for the first 2 weeks, if needed can incorporate twice daily. Salicylic Acid Gel can be used as a spot treatment for affected areas)
- Apply Light Moisturizer or Barrier Renewal Cream, both can be used on acneic skin
- Wear a chemical free sunscreen during the day. Mineral powder sunscreens can be beneficial for acneic skin types
- Spray MB-1 on to skin after all other products have been applied
- 1-2 times a week use Volcanic Ash Mask for a gentle, mineral rich exfoliation

ACNE
Acne occurs when the hair follicles under the skin become plugged with oil and dead skin cells, which results in skin that may be inflamed or non-inflamed. Either of these conditions may cause pimples, pustules, whiteheads, blackheads, and cysts.
If you have acne-prone skin, the first step is using a gentle cleanser without sulfates. NeoGenesis Cleanser can be used on all skin types and all skin conditions, leaving the skin clean and nourished, without stripping the skin. Use our Cleanser twice daily.
After Cleanser, Recovery serum, abundant in S²RM® technology, is perfect to naturally restore balance within the skin. Using Recovery twice a day after cleansing will help to quickly restore the skin, reducing the chances that scarring will occur.
Next apply Mandelic Acid 8% or Salicylic Acid Gel (once daily for the first 2 weeks, if needed can incorporate the use twice daily. Salicylic Acid Gel can be used as a spot treatment for affected areas). Our recommendation is alternate the use of each acid to help keep irritation at a minimum.
People who have acneic skin often steer clear of moisturizers, worrying that they will make their skin worse. Acne-prone skin doesn’t need oil, however, it does need hydration. Hydrated skin is a must for healthy skin. Keeping it hydrated will not trigger more oil production. Aggressively treated skin often appears oily and dehydrated at the same time. This will signal the hormones to produce more oil, keeping the problem ongoing. A light application of our Light Moisturizer or Barrier Renewal Cream may be used as needed after Recovery for any dry areas.
Follow with a chemical-free sunscreen during the day.
