HERPES + COLD SORES
Herpes simplex virus, also known as a cold sore infection, is very common worldwide. Symptoms include pain, itching, or tingling that occur a day or two before blisters begin to form. Sometimes the throat is sore with swollen glands and flu-like symptoms. These blisters can be extremely painful and leave deep scars. NeoGenesis products help to soothe the area of concern and avoid scarring.
We have a new product in development, Antiviral Gel, that has been showing promise at reducing outbreaks and speeding the healing process. If you experience herpes, cold sores or shingles, you’re welcome to request a sample of this new product by contacting customer service.
Just before an outbreak, you may feel tingling, itching, burning, pain, or flu-like symptoms. When this occurs, gently cleanse the area with the NeoGenesis Cleanser.
Apply Recovery serum, abundant in stem cell released molecules to deliver nutrients to the affected area, up to 4 times daily. Recovery serum will deliver the nutrients needed to support the skin during the outbreak and may also reduce the discomfort associated with the lesions.
For any dryness or scabbing, use our Barrier Renewal Cream or Body Cream followed by MB-1 to keep the area hydrated. Incorporating the use of MB-1 helps to balance the microbiota on the skin’s surface.
Once the lesion is beginning to dissipate, continue the use of Recovery and MB-1, 2 to 4 times daily until the area is healed.
