If possible, pre-treat the skin for a minimum of 2 weeks before treatment with Recovery and Barrier Renewal Cream twice daily to strengthen the skin and improve treatment results.
STEP 1: Apply numbing cream at your discretion.
STEP 2: Cleanse with our gentle, gel based Cleanser and remove with 4 x 4 wipes.
STEP 3: Proceed with the laser treatment.
STEP 4: Apply Recovery immediately post-treatment.

Apply Recovery to the skin twice daily.
FIRST 24 HOURS:
Use Cleanser, Recovery and Barrier Renewal Cream in that order twice daily. Wear mineral sunscreen SPF 30+ during the day to protect skin from UV rays.
AFTER 7 DAYS:
Use Cleanser and Barrier Renewal Cream in that order twice daily. Use Recovery after cleansing, before moisturizing in the evening. Wear sunscreen during the day.

Laser resurfacing treatments use beams that emit light energy to target areas of your skin. The treatment is non-invasive and painless, as the light and heat energy works to improve skin tone, texture and improve discoloration.
Laser skin resurfacing is used to treat a number of skin conditions with minimal downtime. As with any advanced treatment, the care and experience of the person performing the laser treatment is critical to the success of the treatment and minimizes the risks.
Pre-Treatment
It is important to prepare the skin in advance of the treatment. If possible, begin a skin health regimen four weeks beforehand to ensure the best possible outcome while minimizing any negative side effects. This preparation will promote proper healing, returning the skin to a state of health.
NeoGenesis recommends the use of Recovery, our advanced serum abundant in S²RM®, once or twice daily after cleansing for four weeks prior to a treatment.
After cleansing with NeoGenesis Cleanser, apply Recovery all over the face and neck, including around the eye and lip area and on the lips. For the more dry skin types, application of Skin Serum after Recovery, followed by our Intensive Moisturizer or Barrier Renewal Cream, will keep the skin hydrated and the barrier improved for proper skin function. This protocol will naturally nourish the skin in preparation of the laser treatment.
Post-Treatment
Your procedure results will be enhanced from the post treatment application of NeoGenesis Recovery serum. If the recommended pre-laser protocol has been used, continue throughout the healing process. If beginning NeoGenesis products post-laser, Recovery, used twice daily after cleansing the skin with our Cleanser, will enhance the effects of the procedure. To combat the initial dryness associated with a laser treatment, apply Skin Serum following Recovery twice daily. Follow the serums with our Intensive Moisturizer or Barrier Renewal Cream, applied twice daily or as needed to hydrate the skin and provide proper barrier function. Our Moisturizing Mist may be used throughout the day on the treated area, anytime the skin feels irritated and tight to cool and soothe irritation. The use of chemical free sunscreen is also extremely important to further protect the skin.
